On Friday 9th July Islington Complex Needs and Islington Mental Health ROCs Charlotte and Georgie hosted a huge summer party in collaboration with St Mary’s Church Hornsey Rise. The community at St. Marys have been very supportive of the residents at Ashley Road who often use their food bank and cooked dinner for them during the pandemic last year.

Residents from the services were involved in planning the event from its early stages and baked goods, a BBQ and creative activities were on the agenda from the get go!

Many staff from all around SHP also donated to the “Free Boutique”! Thank you so much for your contributions - you helped make the event a success and lots of our residents and the local community enjoyed taking away some clothes.

Tamsin the vicar says:

“Thank you to Charlotte & Georgie you ran a brilliant event, it was a pleasure to work with you!”

We were lucky to have professional illustrator and animator Ada Jusic do a live illustration in real time at the event.

Check out more of her amazing work at www.adajusic.com and @adajusic on both Twitter and Instagram.
