'Grow your own happiness' Community Horticulture Talk - Zoom - Sunday 6 June

On Sunday 6th June at 1pm come and join us, with special guest Doug Stewart, for a zoom talk entitled ‘Grow your own happiness’.   If you would be interest in attending this friendly and accessible talk then please contact us on communityhorticulture@kew.org

Health Walk - Kew Gardens - Wednesday 9 June, 11am-12pm

Walking in nature is a fantastic way to improve physical and mental health. The health walks are for members of the Kew Community Access Scheme and are designed to be accessible for everyone. The walks take a gentle route of the gardens, starting from Victoria Gate. The walks are free and include free entry to the Gardens. Please email discovery@kew.org to book.

Tai Chi - Kew Gardens - Monday 14 June & Monday 28 June, 3-4pm

Tai Chi will trial returning to the Gardens for two dates in June! We are so excited to have a fantastic instructor from Dao Lu, who specialise in making Tai Chi accessible to all.

Join us for weekly calming and health-promoting Tai Chi sessions which combine deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. We are also continuing to run Tai Chi on zoom throughout May and June. Contact: discovery@kew.org to find out more and sign up!

FREE SUNFLOWER SEEDS!

They are distributing 100,000 sunflower seeds for free to people (individuals) across the UK to get on a journey over 12 weeks to help them garden for the first time (no garden needed!) and connect with their local community.
