International Women’s Day Zine Making Kits - ArtHouse Project

SHP_Line_ArthouseProject_Black_RGB.png

This year for International Women's Day, held on March 8th every year, ArtHouse has made its very own limited-edition zine making kits inspired by the underground feminist punk movement Riot Grrrl for all artists across SHP!

The kit will give our residents the tools they need to have a go at creating their own zine to celebrate the importance of International Women's Day in the comfort of their own home!

We have created a box of inspiration, tips and tricks and messy materials for our first time zinesters to guide them to make a zine. This is a great opportunity for those wanting to learn something new and keep minds creative during a third lockdown!

We encourage residents to drop their zine inside a stamped envelope in the box and post it back to us, to later be published in the SHP IWD Zine showcasing how we celebrate WOMEN'S RIGHTS and EQUALITY at Single Homeless Project.

The zine will then be posted back to residents alongside 2 photocopied zines created by other participants.

All packs will be delivered to client's address on March 8th containing the following:
