This month we are looking back – reflecting on the history of LGBTQ+ rights and recognition.  We are celebrating how far we have come with the politics, the fight for recognition and acceptance and the struggle for equality.  Things have come a long way but we still have a long way to go.

Here are some links below which you might find interesting.  For those of us that identify as LGBTQ+ it’s a glimpse at those whose shoulders we stand on.

If you are interested in LGBTQ+ issues and want to add your voice via SHP’s newly established staff network then please join us.  You should find an open group on Microsoft Teams.  We are meeting virtually at the moment whilst covid restrictions are in place.

If you want to say anything about what you might have seen or heard in the links then email your comments.  Equally if you want us to celebrate or plug someone or something relevant get in touch.
